Pickling Corn, Elderberry Juice & Wagging Tails

It’s a wonderful, busy time of the year here at Countryview Kennel! Amidst pickling little corn cobs harvested from our garden, picking juicy black elderberries to craft into the refreshing juice our family so loves, we also have these beautiful wagging tails.

Yes, there are seven, happy wagging pups to cuddle, with seven, tiny bellies that need to be rubbed! What pure joy!

Our mini Cockapoo puppies made their appearance on June 26, 2020. Gentle mama is a pure Cocker Spaniel and the proud father is a pure, red, mini Poodle!

Even though these pups are still quite young, (there is a lot of growing to happen before they leave us) the little boy sitting on the left has already been chosen by a loving family. Yay! The curly, red-headed girl (sitting in the middle) is also spoken for! We are so excited for these families!

Each little one will be checked over by a vet at around six weeks of age, receive their first shots and deworming and will be microchipped before they leave us. And believe me, they are getting a lot of snuggles while they grow!

Boy, they are really alert for four weeks old! They were such a joy to photograph this morning . . . such cuties, too!

Oh, the corn patch is calling now . . . it’s time for me to go!

A Hot Summer Day With This Bichon Poodle Litter!

What a muggy, sticky day here at Countryview Kennel!

Whew, it is a warm one, but we definitely are not complaining since we had excellent weather to bring in our hay off of the fields. It’s summertime (woo hoo!) and this sure beats shivering in the cold and shoveling the powdery, white snow.

So, WELCOME! We are so glad you’ve landed here on our blog and we are thrilled to have photographed this sweet litter of Bichon Poodles, just this morning!

Born on June 6, 2020, we are thrilled to show off four, little girls and one, lone boy at just four weeks of age. Aren’t they adorable? They are so alert for being so young.

Before they can leave us, there is a lot of growing that still needs to happen. Growing much more fluffy over the next few weeks and then, being carefully inspected between six and seven weeks of age, by our vet who will also give them their first shots and de-worming. Their health records will be filled out at that time and each little one will also be micro-chipped before leaving us. Should you lose your wee, new pup, he or she can be scanned and joyously returned to you.
